Scanned Art

The Hulk - fan art - drawn
while looking at the cover to
the DVD.

I have wanted to draw a an Elven Fairy for some time now and had never really attempted.

The name Ivory is my youngest daughters middle name and she was the one that asked that I try to draw this picture.

It has some flaws but overall I think the image works, I did a small amount of 'clean up' using The Gimp - but beyond that it is just a scan image of my drawing.

I am not as good as I once was - due to my fingers being much stiffer and my co-ordination being a bit off - (this seems to have occured after bursting my left ear drum a few years back, as I also have a don't as much balance either)

I'll post up some other things soon.

Some art of recent times

Landscape in Bryce 5.5

Archery Practice
I wanted to put out more of my art - this is all computer graphic - I'll be putting up some other types of art soon.
The Upper Image:
I find Bryce to be a bit small on my screen and this makes it hard to tell what the end result will really look like, I'm not very satisfied with the workings of Bryce 5.5 - Although the terrain mapping is interesting with 'push/pull' points to reshape with it seems to be a lot more work to create a convencing terrian than say using Terragen.
The Lower Image:
DAZ|Studios - one of my favorite programs - works simular to Poser Pro - and in fact can use all Poser models - and with the import options can use most any 3d programs objects. I have wanted to make better use of the wonderful bow and quiver since I acquired them, I think this was a fun use of them.
I have some acrylic/watercolor/charcoal - images that I will be uploading next - I'm not sure I like the way they came out, but then again what artist is ever satisfied with their own work.
